NVMdurance donates to Mission Hospice & Home Care
As you may know, it costs virtually the same amount to rent a TV for a couple of days at an exhibition as it does to buy one. So last year we decided to buy the TV needed for our Flash Memory Summit booth and donate it to charity at the end of the exhibition. This year we did the same.
The wife of our Commercial Director, Tom Burniece, is the CFO of Mission Hospice & Home Care in San Mateo, California. Mission Hospice was founded in 1979 and is a nonprofit organization whose professional staff and well-trained volunteers are dedicated to providing the finest quality, compassionate care to those who are terminally ill or facing a life-limiting illness. They also support their families through illness and bereavement.
“They were thrilled with the donation (as you see from their thank you letter),” said Pearse Coyle, CEO NVMdurance. “And we were delighted to be able to help such a worthy cause.”
